Ingredients:

1 1/2 lbs. large shrimp, peeled and deveined 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese 1/4 cup mayonnaise 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese 1 tablespoon minced fresh parsley 1 garlic clove, minced 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon black pepper 3 tablespoons butter, melted 1 cup seasoned dry bread crumbs Directions: Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Grease a 13-in. x 9-in. baking dish with butter; set aside. In a large bowl, combine the first 10 ingredients. Pour into the prepared dish. Sprinkle with bread crumbs. Bake, uncovered, for 20-25 minutes or until shrimp are pink and cheese is bubbly. Yield: 6 servings.

Prawn Gratin

This dish is a hearty and decadent way to show off your prawns. It can be made ahead of time and reheated, making it perfect for entertaining.

Ingredients:

1 kg prawns, peeled and deveined

2 tablespoons butter

2 tablespoons flour

1 cup milk

1 cup grated cheese (your choice)

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

 1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.2. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add flour and stir until smooth.3. Gradually add milk, whisking constantly until mixture thickens and boils. Boil for one minute.4. Remove from heat and stir in cheese until melted. Add salt and pepper to taste.5. Pour mixture into prepared baking dish. Arrange prawns on top of sauce.6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until prawns are cooked through and sauce is bubbly  

Shrimp And Prawn Au Gratin

This is a fantastic recipe for a shrimp or prawn appetizer or main course. It is easy to prepare and always gets compliments when I serve it.

Ingredients:

1 1/2 lbs. large (16-20 count) shrimp, peeled and deveined 3/4 cup all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon garlic powder 1/2 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon black pepper 3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil, divided 2 cups chopped onion (about 1 large) 3 cloves garlic, minced 3/4 cup dry white wine 1 (14.5 oz) can diced tomatoes, undrained 1 tablespoon tomato paste 1 bay leaf 6 green onions, thinly sliced diagonally 1 1/2 cups (6 oz) shredded Gruyère cheese, divided
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
Combine flour, garlic powder, Old Bay seasoning, salt and pepper in a shallow dish. Dredge shrimp in flour mixture until coated and set aside.
Heat oil in a large ovenproof skillet over medium-high heat. Add onion and garlic; cook 5 minutes or until onion is tender. Add wine; bring to a boil. Add tomatoes, tomato paste and bay leaf; simmer 10 minutes.
Add shrimp to the skillet; spoon sauce over shrimp. Bake at 400 degrees F for 8 minutes or until shrimp are cooked through.
Sprinkle with green onions and 1 cup Gruyère cheese. Broil 2 minutes or until cheese is melted.
Note: If you don't have an ovenproof skillet, transfer shrimp mixture to a 9 x 13 baking dish before sprinkling with green onions and cheese.

Seafood Au Gratin

Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups seafood broth

1/2 cup dry white wine

1 tablespoon tomato paste

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper, or more to taste

Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

1 (14.5-ounce) can diced tomatoes, undrained song of 8 cloves garlic, peeled and thinly sliced crosswise 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, at room temperature 1/3 cup all-purpose flour 3/4 cup whole milk 1 1/2 cups shredded Gruyère cheese, divided 3/4 pound uncooked medium shrimp, peeled and deveined 3/4 pound uncooked bay scallops 3/4 pound uncooked cod fillets, cut into 1-inch pieces 6 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley leaves

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).

Lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.

In a large saucepan over medium heat, bring seafood broth, white wine, tomato paste, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, salt and black pepper to a boil. Add diced tomatoes with their juice and garlic. Simmer for 10 minutes. Melt butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Stir in flour until smooth. Gradually add milk, whisking constantly until mixture thickens and comes to a boil. Remove from heat. Stir in 1 cup of Gruyère cheese until melted. Pour the sauce into the prepared baking dish. Add shrimp, bay scallops, cod fillets and parsley leaves. Sprinkle with remaining Gruyère cheese. Bake for 25 minutes or until seafood is cooked through.

-1/2 cup melted butter -1/2 cup all-purpose flour -1 teaspoon salt -1/4 teaspoon black pepper -3 cups milk -1 (12 ounce) can evaporated milk -2 tablespoons lemon juice -1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce -1 teaspoon dried thyme leaves -1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper -6 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided -1 (6 ounce) package crabmeat, drained -1 pound cooked and peeled shrimp, tails removed -5 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese, divided -4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled -2 tablespoons snipped fresh parsley

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Grease a 3 quart baking dish. Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir in flour and salt until smooth. Gradually stir in milk. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Reduce heat to low; cook and stir for 2 minutes longer. Remove from heat. Stir in evaporated milk, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, cayenne pepper, and 2 cups of the cheddar cheese until cheese is melted. Mix in crabmeat, shrimp, 3 tablespoons of Parmesan cheese, bacon, and parsley. Pour mixture into prepared baking dish. Sprinkle with remaining cheddar cheese and Parmesan cheese. Bake for 20 minutes or until bubbly.
